Weekends are the best ! :)

Weekends over weekdays? Weekends hands down! It's not hard; shopping, non-uniform and good TV! Or school? Ok less debating;

Mood boards!
YAY! I was in magazine heaven this weekend! I felt a bit creative, look what I got up to!

Tea party
Inspiration: Alice in wonderland, I do love Disney!

Tea cup availible on ebay.co.uk

Neon

Inspiration: Just a random thought to be honest. Although it’s trending!

Dance with me!

Inspiration: Trending neutral colours guided me to pastel and pale pinks, ballet seemed relevant.

Shopping

Ahh... best part of the weekend is shopping!!

It was cold out so my big knitted jumper came in handy; with my black polar neck I didn’t catch a cold. My aviator jacket gave my outfit a sheepy look and my green capri pants and desert boots added a military look! Not forgetting my leopard welly sock’s!

I'm now on Bloglovin'

Oh how I do love TV!

Gok is back!!
Gok is back! Ahh... How i did miss him! His new series 'Goks fashion road show' was on Tuesday night at 8 pm channel 4, miss it? Catch up on 4od! (Mimicking the voice guy!)

(picture bbc.co.uk)

Here he is with one of my other idols Fearne Cotton.
In this first episode he was in Liverpool where he was asked by four social workers to fix their fashion! Not only that he went head to head with brix smith start with their high-street vs. high-end catwalk face off.

(picture channel4.com)
Here is brix!

One of their looks was British heritage, my favourite! Another one of their look was camel, which has been slowly trending but i think it is going to be big! Wax jackets this wax jackets that, I suppose their alright but quilted are still my favourite!
NTA!
The national television awards were on last night, i have to say the some of the dresses didn’t live up to my expectations, especially Cheryl’s. The dress was ok, but the new tattoo? That ruined it! The lipstick? That’s a no. the hair? No. she should have gone more with the no make-up make up. But that’s my opinion. I’m not doubting that she is beautiful, I’m just improving her look!
Go to http://style.uk.msn.com/ for pictures!
Eastenders may have beaten corrie in the best serial drama award but when it comes to glam glitz dresses and suits, corrie defiantly won!!
Corries sweet hearts Katherine Kelly Brooke Vincent and Sacha Parkinson all looked stunning! It was a close all when I saw Rita Simons in a fitted black Ted Baker dress paired with some funky leopard print heels!

Museums can be chic like geeks!

School trips are usually boring right? Lectures? Odd tour guides and mad hatter tourists? The good things? A day off :). So when I woke up this morning and headed for school I began to think is the trip worth it? I arrived had 3 hour long lectures and then something caught my eye... there was a temporary exhibit 'All dressed up'. It explores fashion through the 1890's 1920's and 1950's. This certainly brightened up the day!

(picture cusu.org)

This exhibit is currently at the Herbert art gallery and will be until the 27th of March. The workshops sound fantastic but places are limited so make sure to book! (www.theherbert.org/)
So less advertising and more fashion? Te he!

(picture news.bbc.co.uk)

This beautiful hand embodied dress has so much detail; you wouldn’t believe it’s from the 1950's would you? The heart shaped strapless frame looks like prom dresses you see now days, the white flower pattern which is trending and the bow belt that adds extra detail.

I'm not sure whether you can see it or not but towards the back of the photo there is a pink skirt and black top outfit. The pattern on the skirt is stunning. This outfit would have been made by household women, the skirt is reversible.
I would thoroughly advise anyone to visit this exhibit and maybe even do a workshop!

Alexa Chung it!!!

Remember back in the 80's when shoulder pads were the 'thing'? I don’t, I wasn’t born then.
But I can remember their comeback in 2010, honestly? I wasn’t sure about them...now? I love them and I'm pretty sure Alexa does too!
She has been snapped by the paparazzi wearing a padded blazer countless amounts of time's, so much so there are 86,000 pictures of her wearing one on Google! I have always liked her style but this one really does rock my socks!

 So I created my own version from the highstreet;
