Olivia Palermo awarded DKNY’s Best Dressed.

'Olivia Palermo’s name on the guest-list of a fashion bash must send all of the other attendees into a serious wardrobe panic. The glossy haired New Yorker took the best-dressed crown at DKNY's sunglasses party in the Big Apple, wearing a colour block pleated maxi dress. The accessory queen showed off her styling skills with a gorgeous jewellery pile up (oh, how we’d love to raid that collection) and a clashing Barbie-pink clutch and heels. She shoots, she scores – again!' - Look magazine -

Check out my trunk show...

Why hello there (a special posh greeting for all you fabulous followers). I always sign off my comments by saying 'Please take a minute to look at my trunk show..' but that's not very interesting or persuasive so I am going to show you what my trunk show is all about...

The IOU project; 'Using technology we create mass market potential for an easy-to-wear line of clothing based on the idea that each piece is handmade and completely unique. The uniqueness of each item allows us to provide traceability right down to the weaver that hand-wove the fabric. The stories of how that item was created, of the people involved, of the customers who purchased them, are the essence of the the e-commerce social network which we have built as a meeting place for a community that shares our brand values of authenticity, transparency, uniqueness and both social and environmental responsibility.'

I am one of 220 trunk hosts we browse through this site, and exclusively reserve items to share with others. Effectively we build up a mini IOU collection!

Coral lips, a touch of denim and Alexa Chung inspiration!

Hello, here is my most favourite outfit at the moment;

Here I wear;
Chino shorts
Denim jacket
Vintage Dr Martens
Vest top
Polka dot tights
Coral lipstick <3

My jacket was inspired by Alexa Chung's 'Orla Kiely' vintage denim jacket;

I love chino's, so chino shorts seemed perfect for summer.
My vest top has a black and white photo on, old photography is my fave!
Vintage Dr Martens caught my eye as soon as I saw them, who doesn't love a pair of Dr Martens?!
Coral lipstick was inspired by the Fuchsia Pink lipstick in my previous post!

I believe...

I recently wrote a poem with my friend at school, it is all made up of famous quotes. Here it is;

I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner.
I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong.
I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls.
I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.
I believe they can't scare me, if I scare them first.
I believe that losing is a temporary feeling, it's the giving up that makes it permanent.
I believe you have to be unique, and different, and shine in your own way to get anywhere in life.
I believe if you're going through hell you should keep on going.
I believe if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.
I believe as you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself and the other for helping others.
