Only a quick post as I am in the middle of planning one of the biggest things ever for chic geek which will be revealed this friday!!! OMG, so exciting :))

Anyways, I love this shoot for Topshop, it has a 50's / 60's twist to it but is perfect for A/W. There are no candy colors, galaxy prints, crucifix's or neon's which for me is breaking the current mould.
I love all the dog tooth prints, short dresses and lovely handbags much more!

What do you think?

So all you twitter-holics or 'twits' will probably have seen Lana Del Rey trend on twitter the other day.

Well, the 411 as they like to call it is ... Lana is the face of H&M's Autumn/winter collection. Yes. H&M just got a whole lot better...

From a business prespective I will say its very likely that after this revelation, fashion and music fans will be going crazy for the collection

BUT: is it going to live up to our expectations? I am hoping for plenty of pastel colours, 60's iconics, lots of layering, big vintage knits, studs, coloured jeans, galaxy print and a hint of army print.

As the title says, how do we get Lana's Beehive?

Charlie Mann, Director of Electric Hairdressing Salon London shows you how:

"The soft wave is feminine, sexy and versatile and can bridge many different clothing styles. Lana gets the balance right between polished definition and natural elegance," says Charlie.

STEP 1: Prepare the hair by cleansing it thoroughly and smooth the cuticles with dry oil, L'Oréal Professionnel's Mythic Oil (£13.70) is perfect for this.

STEP 2: Turn you head upside down and blow-dry gently pulling the roots to get volume and the feeling of air into the hair.

STEP 3: Smooth the hair out using a medium head hugger to achieve a soft wave and definition to the ends of the hair. You could also use large heated rollers to give the hair a full body wave.

STEP 4: Take a triangle section with the widest point at the forehead and the narrow at the crown, elevate and back comb to the desired head and use a soft brush to smooth into shape and position.

TIP: Use a sprinkling of Shu Uemura's Volume Maker (£31) or L'Oréal Professionnel's Super Dust (£11.50) to get substantial volume that will hold.

EXCLUSIVE: Primark's A/W 12 collection.

EXCLUSIVE!

So, I have always been a proud fan of Primark clothing. Regardless of the criticism it has had in the past it is stepping up its game; especially for A/W 12

There is something for everyone, every trend and at an every-day price: at the lower end of high street price wise Primark is the best for accompanying key pieces.

The accessories are average in comparison to previous ranges but the patterned trousers, shoes and the amazing army style jacket make up for it!

Personal little paragraph: So I have been venturing out into the wider world of fashion blogging and it seems that more people are talking about themselves and their day to day life so I will try it out.
Today was the 'festival of sport' at school, which to say is not my thing would be an understatement. I really dislike chasing a ball getting hot and sweaty- but then again I am competitive...
My team for the tug of war won 3 games out of 7 (we were 2 people down- excuses excuses)....
Then I got home to a nice cup of tea and 297 followers, YAY!
I have a school trip to my local university tomorrow; non uniform here I come!

^Hmm, is that okay, let me know if you like the idea^
