Crochet head to toe: Missguided edit

A very prominent trend this summer is crochet. It can be applied and used in every imaginable garment (even swimwear!) and can also be created at home (yes, my DIY lovers).

It definitely has a soft, pretty presence and looks lovely for festival and holiday wear.

The most popular colour for crochet garments is certainly white... it shows off that super summer skin we all try to achieve.

This year however has proved that no matter what colour, getting your hands on a little crochet loveliness ticks your trend box.

I found this little tutorial on how to make a crochet coaster, I think its a sweet little starting place for if you want to give it a go (maybe while you sunbathe and sip on cocktails) give it a watch!:

Some inspiration I found on pinterest:

These look so pretty and give off a hippy 60's vibe

This bralet is so pretty and looks great against tanned skin, although black would look great for all the pale gals out there

Missguided is killing the crochet game

The online retailer is quickly becoming larger and larger worldwide, its certainly big here in the UK.

It aims to create bold and forward thinking garments inspired by real life.

All of their clothes are reasonably priced and as a regular customer my self i have to say their sale never disappoints.

This summer in particular has proved to be a really strong collection from the site, they have all of the most on-trend items, inspired by the likes of the Kardashians and worn by celebrities like Pia Mia.

This is a much harsher, bolder take on crochet, rather than circular and flower patterns this looks a lot more like abstract art. Wonderful.

this is soooo 60's I love it, its pretty and daring all in one, might have to add this to my cart in fact...

SALE ALERT:
These will certainly look great on the beach and show off any summer glow, grab them while the sale lasts!

The fringe detail makes this vest such a bold item, so cute with shorts underneath!!

This is super cool, it kind of looks like mermaid scales and would look great in a nightclub with all the lights down and going crazy

This looks very figure hugging and perfect for heading abroad this summer

Have you got any crochet in your wardrobe this year?
