According to the Urban Land Institute, the
blurring of the city and the suburbs is the third
instalment of the Great Reset: a fundamental change following economic crises that impacts how society makes and consumes goods and how they live and work.
One possible outcome of the Great Reset is the ‘Great Suburbanisation’, where the outskirts of cities will develop faster than the core, resulting in a ‘planet of suburbs’ : This is the ‘Edgelands’
